I began freelance writing in 2021, starting as an intern with 247Sports, covering the DePaul men's basketball team.

After two successful seasons on the DePaul beat, I was promoted to lead publisher of the Northwestern site—a page that had been inactive for several years. My focus was on delivering unique insight and exclusive coverage to re-engage the audience. By the end of the 2023-24 athletic season, I had increased page views tenfold.

In addition to covering college sports, I’ve reported on the 1984 USA men's Olympics basketball team, as well as from major events like Super Bowl LVIII and the National Basketball Retired Players Association (NBRPA) Legends Getaway–both held in Las Vegas.
